For the past nine years, Independence Day has been celebrated meaningfully through a scheme to distribute daily essential items (Solapur chadar, bedsheet, bath towels) and snacks to specially-abled children and the disabled, orphanages, and old age homes through all the branches of the co-operative on the occasion of Independence Day. So far, a total of 22920 essential items kits have been distributed.e
