For the past nine years, Independence Day has been celebrated meaningfully through a scheme to distribute daily essential items (Solapur chadar, bedsheet, bath towels) and snacks to specially-abled children and the disabled, orphanages, and old age homes through all the branches of the co-operative on the occasion of Independence Day. So far, a total of 22920 essential items kits have been distributed.e
A constitution Awareness Program was held with the distribution of 1280 copies of “samvidhana odu” written by the Honorable Justice Dr. H.N. Nagamohanadasa, a retired judge of the Karnataka High Court. So far, 1280 books have been distributed to 8 educational institutions.

Mr. Aditya Naik, a student of Balamandir High School, Karwar, who secured first rank in the state with a perfect score of 625 out of 625 in the SSLC examination, was felicitated by the ST Milagres Cooperative Society ltd,. karwar. Speaking on the occasion, the founder & President George Fernandes praised Aditya’s remarkable achievement and credited his hard work, parental support, and teachers’ guidance for the success. At the Runanubandha event of the 67th District Ceremony of Rotary District 3170, hled in Kolhapur the Rotary Club Karwar West was recognized for its outstanding service and dedication during the Rotary year 2024–25.
